This four-star vacation rental sits on a quiet residential street in Pacific Beach, and you can immediately tell it’s designed for people who want the full San Diego experience without the hotel hassle. The parking situation alone sold me — having your own guaranteed spot in PB is like finding gold, trust me.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what I love about this spot? It’s tucked away on Hornblend Street, which means you’re not dealing with the chaos of Garnet Avenue, but you’re still close enough to walk to everything that matters. Mission Bay is literally a few blocks away — I’m talking about a pleasant 5-minute stroll to the water where you can paddleboard or just sit and watch the sunset. The golf course they mention is the Mission Bay Golf Course, and it’s actually a pretty decent public course if you’re into that sort of thing.

The Space

This place feels like staying at a friend’s house — if your friend has really good taste, that is. The whole home setup means you get a proper kitchen, which is huge when you’re staying more than a couple nights. I mean, eating out every meal in San Diego gets expensive fast, and sometimes you just want to grab groceries and make breakfast before hitting the beach. Each room is thoughtfully set up, and there’s enough space that you’re not tripping over each other if you’re traveling with friends or family.

Plus, you’re positioned perfectly for day trips — Balboa Park is 15 minutes away, the Gaslamp Quarter is close, and you can even make it to La Jolla in about 20 minutes if you want to see the sea lions.
